White Castle is seeking a Lead Sanitation Technician in Louisville to manage a crew and ensure daily sanitation, safety, and GMP compliance in a fast-paced facility.

The Lead Sanitation Technician position is to assist in managing a crew of specially trained Team Members and/or contracted workers to efficiently clean and sanitize all areas of the facility. This must be accomplished daily while maintaining a safe work environment. This position may have additional duties when needed to complete extra tasks when short staffed.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required;
Ability to complete additional training through seminars, schooling, and online courses;
Prior experience in sanitation is required;
Possess good human relation skills, and an above average knowledge of sanitation chemicals and equipment usage in dry/ wet environments;
Knowledgeable of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices, and other Food Safety Programs.
Training of the established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and Production Standard Operating Procedures to all Team Members and contract labor workers;
Ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and HACCP program requirements are followed by all Team Members and contract labor;
Make sure that all production areas are ready for pre- operational inspection by Quality Control;
Record all required shift documentation and inventories of chemicals and supplies;
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to work in an environment with occasional exposure to noise, heat, cold, fumes, smoke, cleaners, and other elements;
Wearing safety gear including safety glasses and other various types of safety gear supplied by the company;
Frequent periods of standing, sitting, walking, stooping and kneeling;
Frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting 50 lbs.(unassisted/assisted); and
Ability to listen, comprehend, and professionally respond to co-worker inquiries, comments, and concerns.
Pay Rate: $25.79 per hour
