Dollar General Corporation is seeking a capable Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of Store Manager. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and assist customers while protecting assets. You’ll help maintain plan‑o‑grams, operate the register, and ensure a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate a cash register and scanner.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks according to store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate faces; build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
