Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toRegional Manager, SouthEastYour role and responsibilitiesB&R is seeking a highly motivated Lead Sales Engineer for our East Region Team, to be based in the Atlanta area. This technical professional sells automation products and services, assists customers in resolving issues, grows relationships and accounts, and suggests technological improvements. The role often collaborates with engineers and sales support to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful sales outcomes. The work model for the role is : #LI - Hybrid This role is contributing to the Machine Automation division in the Southeast Region. The ideal candidate will reside in Northern Georgia and have the ability to travel up to 50% within the region. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers. You will be mainly accountable for :

  • Growing sales of B&R's complete product range by working on new and existing sales opportunities.
  • Leading account and opportunity acquisition strategy; uncover and manage deep under-standing of customer teams and decision processes.
  • Building relationships with upper management at all Top Accounts.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver presentations and demonstrations regarding products and services.
  • Identifying, defining, and developing the best technical solution and strategy for customer applications and leading in-depth technical presentations and discussions with the customers.
  • Securing orders, ensuring timely delivery, and owning the Forecasting and Business Plan for your Territory.
  • Growing customer share through the development and execution of an account plan that includes exceptional sales support as well as the introduction of new products and services.
  • Develop market intelligence and document this knowledge in B&R's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Attending industry events and trade shows to network with potential customers and to represent B&R at these shows. Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience Four or more years of directly related experience. Up to 50% travel, mostly in the region with occasional other domestic and international travel; valid driver's license and passport required with no barriers to travel. Ability to understand and explain complex technical products and solutions. Effective interpersonal and presentation skills. Interested in the application of leading-edge technology across industries. Experience with Machine and Motion Control desirable.
