Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a reliable Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of store management. You will stock, checkout customers, maintain plan-o-grams, and support daily store operations to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, restocking, greeting customers, handling cash, and ensuring safe, clean store conditions. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with planograms and merchandising is a plus.
• Experience in cash handling and store procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves according to store procedures.
• Process receipts, itemization, and bagging at the register.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized store areas.
• Greet customers and assist with locating merchandise.
• Follow SOPs and support store leadership in absence of management.
