Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks per store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes following processes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain clean store front, back room, and restrooms; manage trash.
• Greet customers and assist at checkout; operate cash register and scanner; bag items.
