Dollar General is seeking a Cashier and/or Stocker in Columbus, OH to act in lead capacity in the absence of store management.Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, merchandising, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining store security and asset protection.

The role requires ability to operate a cash register, follow plan-o-gram guidance, and support store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise according to store processes.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and maintaining displays.
• Operate cash register, provide accurate change, process payments, and bag items.
• Open/close the store under direction of Area Manager; sign refunds/overrides as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store environment and assist in plan-o-gram implementation.
