Dollar General Corporation in Columbus, OH is seeking a lead cashier/stocker to support store operations. You will act in a leadership capacity when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent, assist with plan‑o‑grams, and provide exemplary customer service while protecting assets.

You will unload trucks, stock and rotate merchandise, maintain displays, handle cash transactions, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment. Prior supervisory exposure is a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash accurately.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks per store process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned/recovered merchandise.
• Follow ordering practices for zones and drops.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Greet customers entering the store.
• Operate cash register and scan items to total purchases.
• Collect payments and make change.
• Open/close the store under supervision as directed.
• Maintain cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Monitor cash levels and perform drawer pulls as directed.
