Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, assist with plan-o-grams, and deliver exemplary customer service while protecting assets and reducing losses.

You will unload trucks, stock, rotate and face merchandise, and assist customers. The role requires maintaining a safe, clean store and following company SOPs, with opportunities for advancement at a full-time Dollar General location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise; rotate and face items on shelves.
• Maintain front-end and back-end areas; operate register and process payments.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide superior service.
• Adhere to company SOPs, security practices, and loss-prevention measures.
• Open/close store under direction; assist in managing refunds and cash.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe for customers and teammates.
