Dollar General Corporation is hiring a Cashier/Stocker with a lead capacity to support the store in the absence of management. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, operate the register, and provide exemplary customer service to maximize profitability and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include ensuring plan-o-gram compliance, maintaining a clean store, and assisting in daily operations. Six months supervisory experience and a HS diploma are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualificações

• Ability to perform basic math and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit procedures.
• Experience with IBM cash registers and scanning equipment.
• Familiarity with safety and loss prevention policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety rules and plan-o-gram guidelines.
• Ability to follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise, rotate and display products.
• Operate cash register, total sales, and give change.
• Provide customer service and help locate items.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including front end.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and shelf replenishment.
• Open/close the store per Area Manager directions.
• In manager's absence, supervise cash handling and paperwork.
