Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can act as a lead in the absence of the Store Manager. The role focuses on cashier operations, stocking, plan-o-grams, and delivering superior customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. A High School diploma and basic supervisory exposure are preferred.

Competenze

• Proficiency in basic math including percentages.
• Knowledge of cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Experience using IBM or equivalent cash registers.
• Understanding of cash, facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety policies and practices in retail.
• Ability to read and implement plan-o-gram and merchandize presentation guidance.

Mansioni

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes per process.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned or recovered merchandise.
• Assist in order zones and drop shipments as directed by Store Manager.
• Support plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Help customers locate merchandise quickly.
• Maintain store cleanliness and security; manage trash and restroom areas.
