Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Lead Associate to drive sales and uphold Perry Ellis customer service standards in an athletic apparel retail environment. You will support the Store Manager, ASM, and Supervisors to meet financial goals, customer satisfaction, and visual standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, energetic personality, and reliable transportation. You will help maintain merchandising, assist customers, and protect store assets with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Athletic apparel retail experience preferred.
• Energetic and positive attitude.
• 1-2 years of retail experience.
• Flexible availability; reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to move and/or lift to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The lead associate will step in when the supervisor/keyholder is not present.
• Keep merchandise filled to appropriate levels on the sales floor.
• Ensure the store is visually distinctive and appearance impeccably maintained.
• Minimize shortages through proper loss prevention procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times to prevent theft.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication; manage time and priorities.
