Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, assist in finding products, and ring up purchases at the POS. You will deliver Perry Ellis customer service standards and help maximize store performance.

Ideal candidates have athletic apparel retail experience, a positive attitude, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach. Flexibility with scheduling and wearing brand-appropriate attire are expected.

Qualifications

• Athletic apparel retail experience preferred.
• Energetic and positive attitude.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Customer service-oriented (outgoing, friendly, and personable with a positive attitude)

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles).
• Generates maximum sales potential in accordance with the Perry Ellis customer service standards.
• Builds repeat customer base through excellent PE Loyalty Program data capture.
• Maintains strong knowledge regarding product, promotions, and special events in order to communicate to customers more effectively.
• Consistently foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members in a fair and consistent manner.
• Effectively maintains floor coverage; acknowledges every customer; treats customers with priority over assigned tasks.
• Consistently productive throughout the entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish products, maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.).
• Consistently reports to work on time.
• Demonstrates flexibility with his/her schedule.
• Understand individual and store sales goals .
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Follows guidance from management to execute visual standards, recovery and replenishment.
