Job summary

Peraton seeks a Lead Safety & Environmental Analyst to oversee EHS for Fort Irwin DSN operations. You will lead safety programs for complex antenna, electrical, and mechanical systems, driving risk reduction and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, hazard assessments, audits, training, and collaboration with JPL/NASA stakeholders. Strong OSHA/Cal/OSHA knowledge and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 8+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree as listed.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, NFPA and APCD regulations.
• Experience leading safety programs in complex environments.
• Construction safety oversight and changing project priorities experience.
• Ability to analyze EHS data and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve site safety programs with emphasis on high-hazard work.
• Conduct incident investigations and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Perform hazard assessments, JSAs, and MOC reviews.
• Lead EHS audits, field observations, and self-assessments.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and certify trainers where applicable.
• Collaborate with site management and stakeholders on safety matters.
