Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in the United States seeks a Release Train Engineer to lead the Platform's Agile Release Train, facilitating PI planning, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement for warfighter-focused software.

You will collaborate with Product Management and System Architects to ensure a prioritized backlog, coordinate dependencies, and report progress to leadership. A strong background in Agile/Scrum and large-scale programs is required.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in engineering.
• 3 years of experience leading a large scale program.
• Possess expert knowledge in Agile/Scrum or program increment leadership.
• Proven record facilitating PI/SAFe ceremonies and managing issue/risk resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Serve as servant leader and chief Scrum Master for the Platform's Agile Release Train (ART).
• Facilitate PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Collaborate with Product Management and System Architects to prioritize backlog and align dependencies.
• Provide transparent progress reporting to leadership with burndown/burn-up charts.
• Guide the ART to deliver a continuous, high-quality software flow to warfighters.
