Job summary

Jenks Veterinary Hospital in Jenks, OK is seeking an experienced Lead Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to supervise daily workflows and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dental work.

The Lead RVT will mentor staff, coordinate scheduling, ensure medical standards, and maintain accurate records while delivering compassionate client care from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• Experienced RVT with strong clinical knowledge.
• Ability to supervise and mentor clinical staff.
• Proficient in record keeping and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Support exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Induction, monitoring, and recovery of anesthesia.
• Assist in surgery.
• Perform dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintain detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients.
• Identify patient concerns and support efficient case management.
• Educate clients and build strong relationships with patients and families.
