Clear Creek Animal Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and provide clinical leadership while supporting outpatient care and procedures, including anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry.

The ideal candidate is a mentor who can coordinate hospital flow, supervise technicians, and maintain meticulous medical records while delivering compassionate client education and top-quality patient care in a busy general practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active Colorado RVT license
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills
• Proficient in anesthesia and dental procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and support to technicians and veterinary assistants
• Serve as a clinical resource while performing advanced technician duties, including anesthesia, surgical, and dental procedures, and patient monitoring
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Partner with hospital leadership to identify workflow challenges and implement improvement
• Help coordinate daily support staff workflow and reinforce hospital SOPs, safety protocols, and clinical standards
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
