Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a Purple Parrot Room Chef to lead the kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, manage the kitchen staff, and deliver a memorable dining experience for guests.

The role requires extensive cooking experience, supervisory background, and strong knowledge of food safety. You’ll plan menus, supervise shifts, control labor costs, oversee inventory, and maintain a clean, safe, fast-paced kitchen while upholding Atlantis standards.

Qualifications

• 7 years of cooking experience.
• 2 years of supervisor experience.
• 1 year of fine dining experience.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow Atlantis Policies and Procedures.
• Know the entire menu.
• Produce a consistent and quality product.
• Knife skills and ability to use kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations across all shifts.
• Ensure menu items are prepared per recipes and standards.
• Collaborate on menu planning and development.
• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and training.
• Monitor labor costs, payroll, and staffing levels.
• Order products and manage inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Foster team morale and positive guest relations.
• Read and execute food orders accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
