Kohler Co. is seeking a Lead Room Attendant in Kohler, WI to supervise and coordinate room attendants, ensuring timely, high-quality cleaning and adherence to venue standards.

You will allocate daily room tasks, monitor cleanliness, and collaborate with Maintenance/Engineering to address issues while maintaining guest satisfaction and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1+ year experience as a Room Attendant III at Destination Kohler or Forbes-rated property in housekeeping.
• Candidate must speak, write, and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and direct the work of Room Attendants.
• Organize and facilitate the room making process.
• Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area.
• Check occupied and departure rooms paying attention to guest needs.
• Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering.

Lead Room Attendant

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

1. Responsible for smooth operation of the floor/area assigned.
2. Responsible for the overseeing and directing the work of Room Attendants.
3. Organizes and facilitates the room making process.
4. Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
5. Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
6. Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
7. Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the venue standards.
8. Routine inspection of guest rooms to ensure they meet standards.
9. Aware of all room categories and amenities.
10. Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
11. Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
12. Assist Housekeeping Coordinator with training requirements.
13. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
14. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
15. Perform Room Attendant, House Person, and Public Area Attendant responsibilities as needed.
16. Adhere to uniform and grooming standards as assigned by venue.
17. Maintain confidentiality and security of all guests and general hotel information.
18. Comply with hotel Lost and Found policy

Skills/Requirements

1. High school diploma is preferred but not required
2. At least 1-year experience as a Room Attendant III at Destination Kohler OR experience at a Forbes rated property in the housekeeping department.
3. Candidate must speak, write, and understand English, required
4. Previous leadership experience preferred but not required
