Qualifications

8+ years of software development for robotics, autonomous or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Own manipulation use cases from definition through demonstration, set capabilities and success criteria.
Turn ambiguous R&D goals into executable plans and document trade-offs.
Lead delivery across engineers with varied experience and ensure clear ownership.
Design, implement, and review core software in C++ and Python; evolve ROS 2-based stack.
Establish automated tests, CI, hardware-in-the-loop validation and observability.
Collaborate with AI and software engineers on data collection, simulation, training and deployment workflows.
Align software decisions with hardware, controls and AI constraints, ensuring safe operation.
Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and develop documentation to enable independent work.
