Job summary

Meta seeks a talented Associate General Counsel for Meta Robotics Studio to advise on a broad range of legal topics spanning AI, hardware, data protection, and product safety. You will partner with engineering, ML, policy, and cross-functional teams to shape the legal foundations as robotics projects move from prototype to scale.

The role requires first-principles reasoning, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to translate complex technical subjects into practical guidance.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. bar license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work with ambiguity on novel tech/robotics law
• Experience advising on technology, internet, or media products
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Advise on AI regulatory, hardware, data protection, privacy, IP and product safety topics
• Provide front-line legal and strategic business advice to product and engineering teams
• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with strategic partners and suppliers
• Build scalable playbooks, templates, and risk-mitigation frameworks across Reality Labs
