Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience designing robust electrical systems for robotics or embedded hardware.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, power distribution, PCB design, sensors, actuators.
• Embedded systems and microcontrollers with I2C, SPI, UART, CAN.
• Firmware development for hardware bring-up, PLCs, drive systems, safety devices.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad).
• Experience managing roadmaps, priorities, and project schedules.
• Mentor engineers and develop high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Architecture & Hardware Design: power distribution, PCB design, sensors, actuators, system architecture.
• Embedded Systems & Firmware: hardware bring-up, PLCs, drive systems, diagnostics, microcontrollers.
• Validation, Reliability & Safety: design reviews, validation plans, test fixtures, EMI/EMC, field reliability.
• Manufacturing & Deployment: prototype development, vendor support, production readiness, fleet deployment.
• Engineering Tools & Strategy: schematic/PCB tools, electrical simulation, documentation, roadmap planning.
