Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC seeks a CCTV Repair Technician to oversee the facility and maintain robotic camera equipment. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, parts replacement, and thorough record-keeping.

You will lead task planning and ensure safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong supervisory skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience with camera systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of related experience preferred.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates tasks and activities of robotic camera equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on robotic camera equipment.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts to managers.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
• Will provide in-house and in-field training as necessary
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
