Job summary

Prince is seeking an experienced Lead Surveyor in Florida to direct field crews on roadway projects. You will prepare data on-site, oversee GPS file preparation, and ensure accurate as-built information in coordination with the Survey Manager.

You must read and interpret drawings, utilize CAD and Excel for layout, and maintain safety and quality in outdoor conditions, with overtime as needed. A valid Florida driver's license is required.

• Lead crews of surveyors and prepare data at the site.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and translate to survey data for layout.
• Use CAD and Excel for layout and data processing.
• Maintain safety and quality while performing surveying tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and coordinate surveying activities.
• Prepare GPS files for automated equipment.
• Collect site data for as-built in coordination with Survey Manager.
• Perform layout and as-builts for road construction elements (walls, drainage, bridges, earthworks, ITS, FSS, TCPs).
• Maintain control and execution of surveying activities in field and office.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings.
