Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Rogersville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting. You will supervise nursing staff, manage medications, and ensure adherence to care plans for residents.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in the practice state and has strong documentation and communication skills. A supervisory background and familiarity with EHR systems are preferred; long-term care experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1+ year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations (federal/state).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs, ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts.
• Monitor residents' status and communicate changes to physicians.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the team.
• Complete clinical documentation per policy and procedure.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in QA activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys.
