Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) is an acute care facility serving the Hollywood community since 1924. The RN Charge Nurse Telemetry (4S) position leads a healthcare team, coordinates department operations, and ensures safe, high‑quality patient care on the 4S telemetry unit in Los Angeles.

Candidates must hold a California RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Basic EKG, and ideally two years of RN acute care experience with charge/preceptor responsibilities. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a BRN approved nursing program.
• Two years of RN experience in an acute care environment, one of which included charge and/or preceptor responsibility.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, reviews, assigns and organizes the work of at least three staff, including another RN.
• Maintains compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Leads daily rounds and coordinates patient care across the unit.
• Mentors and precepts staff and supports delegation of tasks.
• Ensures patient safety and quality outcomes.
