Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise staff, oversee resident care, and uphold quality standards under the DON. The role emphasizes leadership, clinical proficiency, and adherence to policies within a Kansas facility.

The RN will administer medications, facilitate admissions and discharges, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. English proficiency is required for clear communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Kansas RN licensure.
• Strong leadership abilities and willingness to collaborate with both professional and nonprofessional personnel.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Complete all RN record-keeping forms and charts during admissions, discharges, transfers, and other events, filing them appropriately.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, including transportation and packing arrangements.
• Administer professional services per facility policies (catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, etc.).
• Collaborate with consultants and implement changes under the DON's guidance.
• Investigate complaints and grievances, providing oral and written reports to the DON.
• Exchange nursing reports at shift changes and conduct daily resident checks to assess well-being.
• Keep the DON informed about residents, staff, and related matters.
