Responsibilities

• Lead with Excellence by partnering with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to uphold high standards of care.
• Conduct rounds to ensure compliance with nursing protocols and quality standards.
• Deliver person-centered resident care and promptly address resident needs or concerns.
• Participate in facility surveys and maintain regulatory standards.
• Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Conduct in-service training to keep staff updated on best practices.
• Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review care plans.
• Respond to emergencies efficiently, ensuring safety of residents and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
