Job summary

Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will provide high-quality resident care and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to uphold standards.

This on-site role offers hourly pay of $37–$40, with experienced clinicians rewarded for excellence. You will lead rounds, mentor staff, participate in trainings, and contribute to care planning and compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida.
• Experience in nursing home or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead with excellence alongside the Directors to uphold high standards of care.
• Conduct rounds to ensure nursing protocols and quality standards.
• Deliver person-centered care and promptly address resident needs or concerns.
• Participate in facility surveys and maintain regulatory standards.
• Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Conduct in-service training to keep staff updated on best practices.
• Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review care plans.
• Respond to emergencies efficiently, ensuring safety of residents and staff.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving resident care and satisfaction.
