Job summary

Johnson Memorial Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver compassionate nursing care in a skilled nursing facility. The role includes leading nursing teams, planning and evaluating care, and ensuring accurate documentation consistent with state and federal regulations.

The RN will assess residents, collaborate with physicians, and support families while upholding the facility’s core values and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing or equivalent required.
• Must possess full and unrestricted RN license in Minnesota, evidence of NCLEX-RN or CGFNS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ health status and care needs; develop and implement care plans.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and TMAs based on needs and scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to nursing staff during shifts.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and hand-off communications.
