Job summary

SSM Health in St. Louis is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide leadership and coordination of unit staffing in the Maternal Fetal Medicine department.

You will assign care, supervise staff, collaborate with providers, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The role is day shift, 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligibility.

A Missouri RN license and BLS/ALS/NRP per hospital requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• One year of RN experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• RN license issued in Missouri or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during shift.
• Develops and distributes patient care assignments for appropriate care.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure outcomes.
• Evaluates effectiveness of patient care and addresses issues.
• Responds to complaints about care through established channels.
• May assist with hiring, training and staff development.
