Job summary

Recover-Care in Belleville, KS seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee staff assignments and provide supervision of resident care. You will ensure quality care by following policies and the guidance of the DON, while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of service.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited RN program, Kansas licensure, strong leadership skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Kansas RN licensure.
• Strong leadership abilities and collaboration with professional and nonprofessional personnel.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff assignments and oversight of resident care.
• Complete and maintain RN record-keeping forms and charts for admissions, discharges, transfers, and other events.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge, including transportation arrangements.
• Administer professional services (catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, etc.) per facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with consultants and implement changes under the DON guidance.
• Investigate grievances and report to the DON as needed.
• Exchange nursing reports at shift start and end.
• Conduct daily resident checks to ensure treatments are administered correctly and residents' well-being is monitored.
