Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care and leadership within our healthcare team in Kansas. You will oversee staff assignments, supervise resident care, and ensure compliance with policies, reporting to the Director of Nursing as needed.

The role requires an active Kansas RN license, strong leadership, and solid English communication. Responsibilities include medication administration, admissions/discharges coordination, and daily resident welfare

Qualifications

Current Kansas RN license and graduation from an accredited RN program.
Strong leadership abilities and collaboration with staff.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

Oversee staff assignments and supervision of resident care.
Complete RN record-keeping forms and charts during admissions, transfers and discharges.
Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges and arrange transportation as needed.
Collaborate with DON and facility consultants, reporting issues as required.
Conduct daily resident checks to ensure prescribed treatments are carried out correctly and monitor well-being.
