Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside, a 40-bed long-term acute care facility in Perris, CA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team and oversee nursing care using the nursing process. You will coordinate with physicians, family, and staff and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license required upon hire; BLS certification preferred.
• Six months of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, provide and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Develop and update patient care plans in coordination with patient and family.
• Administer medications following the five rights and document appropriately.
• Participate in discharge planning and collaborate with physicians and staff.
