Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside is a 40-bed long‑term acute care facility providing 24/7 ICU-level care. We seek an experienced RN to lead nursing care, coordinate plans, and ensure patient education and discharge planning.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and adherence to ICU policies in a high-stakes environment. You will assess patients on admission, develop and update care plans, administer medications with precision, and participate in emergency interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (state licensure required).
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required (facility-specified).
• Minimum one year of critical care experience.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to critically ill patients using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge planning.
• Administer medications safely following the seven rights and ICU policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, families and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
• Document assessments, plans, and interventions accurately in the EMR.
