Job summary

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of rigging operations experience in machinery moving, construction, industrial or maritime settings.
• Deep knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, crane operations, load calculations and lift planning.
• Strong safety protocol commitment and ability to implement safety measures.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate a diverse workforce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for rigging challenges.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and enforce safety protocols; conduct safety meetings and inspections.
• Ensure foremen complete daily pre-tasks and track JSAs as needed.
• Coordinate crews to arrive at customer facilities with the necessary tools and equipment.
• Assist crews in gathering additional tools as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales and dispatch on plans, load requirements, lifting points, site conditions and staffing.
• Attend pred-job walks with sales and customers to determine needs and create detailed bids.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance and repair of equipment, slings, cables, chains, shackles, hooks and lifting devices.
• Ensure DOT compliance and adherence to manufacturer recommendations and industry regulations.
