Job summary

Worley is seeking a skilled Rigging Technician for industrial construction and maintenance projects. This role focuses on assembling, rigging, and moving heavy equipment safely on-site, with emphasis on complex rigging practices and load charts.

You will load, transport, and secure loads, direct crane operators, and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment. Strong safety awareness is essential for daily operations in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial construction or maintenance.
• Knowledge of complex & heavy rigging and load charts.

Responsibilities

• Loads, transports, unloads and selects cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves by load.
• Attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts and clamps.
• Attaches load with grappling devices to crane hook.
• Gives direction to crane operator to ensure safe hoisting and movement of loads.
• Sets up braces and rigs hoisting equipment.
• Assembles and disassembles cranes.
• Splices rope and wire cables to make or repair slings or tackle.
• Perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
