Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Ride Mechanic Foreman to lead the Ride Maintenance team, ensuring safe, reliable operation of all attractions. The role oversees preventative and corrective maintenance, assigns work, mentors mechanics, and ensures compliance with ASTM, manufacturer and OSHA standards, while promoting safety and efficiency.

Includes a full-time, year-round schedule with 40+ hours weekly, starting pay at $33.00 per hour plus after 5pm ($1) and weekends ($5)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, amusement park or related environments.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read/interpret technical manuals, schematics and parts diagrams.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise ride mechanics in inspection, maintenance and operation of amusement rides.
• Assign daily work activities and prioritize maintenance tasks based on ride availability.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to maximize ride reliability and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, ASTM, OSHA, and company policies.
