Job summary
Six Flags is recruiting an Entry to Mid-Level Ride Mechanic in California. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing amusement rides, with duties ranging from routine inspections to troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Pay ranges from $34.50/hr (Level 1) to $44/hr (Level 3) based on experience. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays are required.
Qualifications
- Requires vocational diploma in mechanical/industrial maintenance.
- Minimum of one year of experience in mechanical maintenance for a Level 1 Ride Mechanic or equivalent.
- Must have forklift and man lift certifications.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections of amusement rides and related equipment; takes corrective actions.
- Troubleshoots mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems; applies fixes.
- Maintains documentation of repairs and inspections; submits paperwork to supervision.
