Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a senior RF systems engineer to own the RF systems on the Terran R vehicle. You will lead system-level trades, develop end-to-end link budgets for telemetry and control, and define the RF frequency plan.

Work cross-functionally with propulsion, software, avionics, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust RF performance across all flight phases. You will mentor junior engineers and establish analysis standards while shaping the architecture of the vehicle's RF system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years RF systems engineering on launch vehicles or similar.
• Strong RF fundamentals: link budgets, antennas, EMI/EMC.
• Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary work.
• Hands-on RF test equipment experience.
• Proficiency with HFSS/FEKO/CST and Python/MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical generalist and owner for Terran R RF systems.
• Lead system-level trades and RF architecture analyses.
