Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Austin, TX seeks a Senior RF Engineer to lead end-to-end RF and microwave system development for radar, EW, aerospace, and defense applications. You will architect complex subsystems, model and optimize performance, and drive prototype testing using advanced RF test equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
7+ years of RF/microwave system design, test, and integration.
Experience with RF architecture and high-frequency behavior.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of RF/microwave systems from concept to production.
Architect and design RF subsystems including amplifiers, mixers, converters, filters and transceivers.
Perform modeling, simulations, trade studies, and design optimizations to meet performance and environmental constraints.
Drive prototype development, hands-on testing, and verification with advanced RF test equipment.
Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and leads to ensure project delivery and roadmap alignment.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Support proposals and technical responses for new business opportunities.
