Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Tactical RF Sensors Subsystem Lead Engineer to lead sensor development in Berkeley, MO for a proprietary Air Dominance fixed-wing program. You will oversee an engineering team, coordinate work across disciplines, and drive integration of RF sensor systems in an agile environment.

You will collaborate with leadership and customers to define requirements, translate them into system designs, and ensure successful validation across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of related work experience with degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activity of an engineering team using agile toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Provide technical leadership and drive technical excellence for all scope of work within a subsystem team.
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches and engineering of subsystem team.
• Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
• Test and validate RF systems to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Manage supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solve problems and support fielded hardware and software across product lifecycle.
• Research technology advances for potential application to business needs.
• Utilize MBSE for hardware, software, and performance model development and traceability.
• Hardware and software development, integration, test, and validation/verification.
• RF sensor integration and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
