Job summary

Echodyne in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Principal PCB Design Engineer to lead the Advanced Technology Development team. You will own physical design for RF, high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics used in rapid radar prototypes and future products.

The role demands deep PCB expertise, strong judgment, supplier engagement, and the ability to balance electrical performance with reliable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field and at least 12 years of relevant PCB design experience.
• Eligibility to handle export-controlled technical data (ITAR/EAR) in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB physical design for advanced technology prototypes and future radar platforms.
• Translate RF, analog, high-speed digital, power, and manufacturing requirements into stackups and routing.
• Create prototype boards, coupons, and test vehicles to validate new materials and methods.
• Collaborate with RF, electrical, mechanical, systems, and suppliers to meet engineering constraints.
• Provide design reviews, mentoring, and transition of PCB solutions into product development.
