Job summary

Logos Space is building state-of-the-art RF payload hardware and ground antennas, including mechanically gimbaled reflector antennas. You will be the team lead, responsible engineer, and owner of mechanically steered antennas delivering resilient satellite-based connectivity.

This early, high-impact role requires strong RF systems expertise, proven leadership, and ability to guide a cross-functional engineering team through production readiness for space hardware.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM fields.
  • 5+ years of RF, microwave, and/or antenna engineering experience for satellite comms or similar applications.
  • Strong understanding of reflector antennas, large aperture high gain antennas, and waveguide.
  • Experience with RF system including digital, baseband, analog RF/microwave components, feed antennas, reflectors.
  • Proven collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • RF hardware lifecycle ownership from requirements through production.

Responsibilities

  • Cradle-to-grave ownership of RF payload mechanically gimbaled high gain antenna systems.
  • Drive system-level requirements for gimbaled reflector antennas.
  • Manage cost and schedule of RF hardware.
  • Oversee vendors and partners, domestic and international travel as needed.
  • Perform trade studies and define RF system architecture.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary team across antenna, RF, mechanical, thermal, electrical, and other engineering domains.
  • Establish and manage qualification and acceptance test campaigns per MIL-STD-461 and SMC-S-016.
