Northrop Grumman is seeking an electronics engineer to design, develop and test high‑reliability RF/IR systems for STEWS. You will troubleshoot hardware, support production transitions, and generate technical documentation. Strong MATLAB skills and data handling are required.

The role offers challenging assignments in a growing defense program with potential for leadership and advanced responsibilities within the STEWS team in Rolling Meadows, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of related experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
• Proficient in MATLAB and able to handle large data sets

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, hardware/system integration and test of electronic systems
• Troubleshoot hardware to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Support transitions from design to production
• Maintain ISO-compliant processes and procedures
• Provide technical support to depot and USAF technicians
• Create engineering documentation and interface with customers
• Subsystem integration, test and TRR activities
• Analyze hardware commanding at the register level
