Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Systems Engineer (Electrical Engineering) in Rolling Meadows, IL to develop and test RF/DSP algorithms for advanced RFEW systems. You will model with HFSS, implement in C/C++, and work with cross-functional teams to prototype and demonstrate capabilities.

Ideal candidates have a strong MATLAB background, experience in digital signal processing, and proven ability to deliver technical presentations. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
• Experience in digital signal processing.
• Hands-on MATLAB modeling, simulation, or algorithm development.
• Experience creating and delivering technical presentations.
• U.S. citizen; ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test RF/DSP algorithms for RFEW applications using MATLAB.
• Develop, validate, and maintain HFSS models and simulations for RF propagation and antenna performance.
• Analyze system performance and support trade studies to optimize architectures.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and software teams to integrate designs into prototype systems.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and documentation for stakeholders.
