Job summary

Holt Executive Ltd seeks a Senior Antenna RF Test Engineer to lead the testing and validation of advanced phased array antenna systems for satellite communications. You will work closely with design, hardware, and systems teams to ensure antenna performance meets program requirements.

The role requires five+ years in RF/antenna testing, hands-on use of VNA, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators, and strong electromagnetics knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Minimum five years of RF/antenna testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetics, antennas, and phased arrays.
• Hands-on use of VNA, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Experience with near-field/far-field/compact antenna test range environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and characterization of advanced phased array antenna systems, including gain, radiation patterns, G/T, EIRP, and beamforming metrics.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between measured and predicted performance, identifying root causes.
• Operate and optimize antenna measurement facilities, supporting calibration processes and production test methodologies.
• Collaborate with antenna, hardware, and systems teams to validate performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to test planning, and maintain RF/antenna test facilities.
