Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced antenna systems engineer to lead the evaluation, design, validation, and deployment of advanced satellite UT antennas for a constellation project. You will assess and select antenna technologies and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in satellite communications or related wireless fields, with expertise in phased-array concepts, beamforming, and RF subsystems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite communications, antenna systems, user terminal development, or related wireless communication technologies.
  • Experience in antenna design, testing, integration, or performance evaluation.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; Ph.D. with related focus preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in evaluating, designing, validating, and deploying satellite UT antenna technologies.
  • Assess existing and emerging antenna technologies for feasibility and performance.
  • Offer technical recommendations to Product Line Management and Systems Engineering teams.
  • Lead engagements with antenna manufacturers, technology providers, and partners.
  • Conduct design reviews; support qualification and validation testing.
  • Contribute to future antenna architectures and performance requirements.
  • Model antenna performance and assess operational suitability within the network.
