Job summary

Warner Music Group seeks a lead Revenue Accountant for Recorded Music to own end-to-end revenue accounting, ASC 606 compliance, and systems automation. You will drive month-end close, mentor staff, and partner with SAP/BlackLine across DSP data to ensure accurate royalties.

This remote US role reports to the RTR Accounting Team and supports global labels with a data-driven approach and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related analytical field required.
• Active CPA license (or international equivalent) strongly preferred.
• 10 to 15+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate/shared services or Big 4.
• High-volume revenue or royalty accounting experience in music/digital entertainment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition implementations for high-volume revenue streams.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee SAP, BlackLine, and revenue sub-ledgers integrations and improvements.
• Analyze revenue datasets across DSPs and provide executive variance insights.
• Coordinate with internal auditors and prepare PBC schedules and memos.
