Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience using IBM cash register functions.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and process shipments according to store procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; restock and manage plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers in locating items and answer questions.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and provide correct change.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; open/close store per direction.
• Monitor cashier accountability and assist with refunds/overrides as needed.
