Job summary

AbleLight in Wichita, KS seeks Lead Sales Associate to supervise store operations, manage product rotation, and coach volunteers to advance our mission and values. You will direct staff to ensure customer satisfaction and meet production standards, contributing to AbleLight's goals.

The role requires strong customer service, leadership, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work full-time including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains standards to maximize value of donated goods and optimize space.
• Provides coaching and training to assigned associates and volunteers.
• Assists in resolving associate, donor and customer concerns.
• Follows loss prevention and security procedures.
• Completes timely and accurate required reports.
• Maintains a safe and orderly work environment and enforces safe practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Lead Associates provide direction to staff to ensure that customer satisfaction and production standards are being met to achieve established goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of retail or customer service experience
• One year of leadership experience.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record as defined by AbleLight.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis (more occasionally) and stand on feet for up to eight hours.
• Able to assemble and move racks and shelves for extended periods of time.
• Able to carry items up and down stairs as needed.
• Must be able to work fulltime hours during the week (days, evenings, and weekends).
